Believing that Improvisation is an essential skill that is crucial to an actors development and to most Commercial auditions, Carolyne Barry created and supervises this specialized workshop. Utilizing Improv games and exercises, actors learn a valuable acting process that will: Improve Commercial Auditions, Expand Personal Freedom, Exercise Creativity and Develop Characters. Gregory Hoyt, Donovan Scott or Robert Schied teaches.

PERFORMANCE IMPROV I & II
The Performance Improv I and II workshops have the same purposes as the Intro Improv but the games, exercises and directions are more challenging. Also, the participants have had Improvisation training. Both sessions conclude with an Improvised show(s) performed at a theater.
PERFORMANCE IMPROV I
Tuesday, April 30, 2013 -
Donovan Scott teaches. This workshop is designed both for the new actor who has completed the Intro Improv workshops and have invited to move on and for intermediate or advanced actor with minimal Improv training. After eleven classes, there will be a show with two performances and an invited audience at a small theater.
PERFORMANCE IMPROV II
Wednesday September 11, 2013
After nine classes, there will be a show with two performances and an invited audience at a small theater. There will be another class and then this session will conclude with a final performance at a small theater.
Seventeen students – By invitation only
- 4 – 4 1/2 hours per session
- Twelve Session Workshop:
- Performance Improv I $505
- Performance Improv II $525
- (if students want show recorded, it will be an additional $35)
Those interested in any of the Improvisation workshops are invited to attend the shows at the conclusion of the Performance Improv I and II workshops.
